First off no he didn't, the cardasian did break him he how is defiant enough not to give in when he knows the way out is there.

Secondly Patrick stewart is a support of amnesty international so there was a reason for this.

This scene is so famous, it's practically a meme.

I just uploaded it on my youtube profile, i'm star trek fan for many many years "there are four lights" it's just epic is about triumph of will.

But now when i watch it my first thought it's Guantanamo Bay, so i put it on my youtube channel and titled it accordingly.

As for tortures, many my Polish compatriots, still can not cope that we lent our Polish Air force base for CIA terrorist prison sub station.

During World War II Germans built against our will Auschwitz, now this CIA use our land to torture people, maybe not innocent people but still people.

Let's not get started on that.

I don't really see the point of this topic. It's such a vile, horrific and disgusting thing, worse than plain murder. Those are basically criminal organizations and they should be eradicated, stomped to dust. World would be a better place without those horrible psychopathic monsters.

It just saddens me that today we have glorification of such things in the media. As if people have forgot what crimes against humanity are. So sad.

You're damn right but torture, unfortunately, have been in past, are and will be in future.

4 April was exceptionally beautiful poland premiere of the film, "The Railway Man" based on reality about torture survivor Eric Lomax, who was tortured in POW camp Japan, very good movie.
