How to find out whats giving you a NullReferenceException?

you need to pop open your Output_log.txt (Any old text editor will do) and do a search for it, it should say there. To fix it you need to tell the mod author what's going on and how to reliably reproduce the issue.

That's not the output_log.txt. That's KSP.log. Go into KSP_Data, find the output_log.txt, and that will have a stack trace to the problem.
