Launch of the return ship. Lot of DV to launch at an orbit of 600km to get best warp possibility.

Well done! That's a sturdy looking Eve lander.

Though I'm wondering a few things:

Why did you take the weight of the fairings all the way to Eve? Why not drop them during launch, or use them as a heat shield during Eve decent?

Also, the other pod docked to the rescue ship come from?

Hi

The pod on the rescue ship comes from this first mission:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/74221-The-Rescue-of-Maldous-Kerman

I had a lot of stories with my flight to Eve and 2 kerbals were stuck there because I had some difficulties to design a rescue ship with enough DV for take off from 4200m.

The fairing is just an option. I decided to take a lot of DV for these 2 trips to Eve, more than necessary, just to be able to do the job without having to dock for refueling whatever could happened during the flight, so I took the fairing (It's just 2T compared to the 4500T on take off) and I used it in the first mission during the descent through Eve atmosphere.

During the second Mission I did the same thing and I got a problem when dropping it, the right part got stuck in the ship, while the other part was dropping, so I had to revert to a quick save and I decided to drop it in Eve orbit.

The lander is a monstrosity. But, a lot of thought and effort went into it - and most importantly, it worked. Well done.

Thank you.

Not obvious to get 10500DV with a 1.55 TWR to escape from Eve. 129T for 10500DV, I don't think it so much weight and I'd like what combination of engines and tanks to do better.....

As it turns out I need to launch an Eve Rescue mission also - so I was checking out landers. If my "lander" can't achieve Kerbin orbit - it won't get off of Eve, either.
