A few suggestions

1) At the space center, when an item is either recovered or terminated, the totals at the top of the screen do not update. It would be nice to see the screen update.

2) Make the navball bigger. To make those pinpoint adjustments, it's sometimes really hard to see what is going on. Or maybe a mode that zooms in on the navball.

3) Some mechanism to disable/enable staging with spacebar. During a launch sequence, having the spacebar to stage is handy.... when your docking and getting things ready in orbit, its just a liability waiting to happen.

On my decent resolution setting, the navball already seems enormous. Maybe a way to resize it/zoom inside it?

1) is a bug and hopefully it will get fixed in some future update

2) is already possible, there is a slider for UI size in settings. Of course that will enlarge navball together with all other parts of the UI. And it cannot be changed while playing.

regarding 2) id like it if there was some kind of ZOOM IN view of the Nav ball, when you press TAB to activate fine controls.

On suggestion two, I just saw Scott Manley demonstrate a workaround for this here.

Looks like he goes into the cockpit and zooms in on the navball there. Kinda sweet if your cockpit has one.
