KASA Space Program Pt.2: Going in Circles

Last time on KASA, we launched a 2 stage liquid rocket into space! Now we try for a orbital flight around Kerbin.

Kostock 1 Mission

I start with Kostock 1, My attempt to replicate Vostock 1.

Now for liftoff!

.6 km up, the 1st stage dies.

(the purple spot is where LVT30 from part 1 landed, i keep the pod as a memorial.)

Space! (by then I have started the grav-turn that puts you into orbit)

Over launch site, orbit complete! I use the rest of the fuel to put us on a course back home.
