I found that if you are building so wide it collides with the walls, temporary rotate the craft sideways... So the side is on top

you're sending the entire kerbal fuel supply into orbit like some saudi space king. You should turn a Class E asteroid into a party planet and fly it around the solar system with all that fuel

Why didn't I think of that? I've been moving the ship to the side but it seems like that would work a bit better.
