Eve Highest point coords?

Hi. I'm about to do a grand tour of the solar system

Now, I have the Enviromental Enhancements mod, so I can't see where the peaks of Eve is. However, I do have kethane grid, so I can see coords from map view- so I need to know, wheres the highest spot on Eve? IIRC, it's somewhere around 6.5 km up, and takes about 9 km/s of delta-v to get to orbit, no?

Yeah, but just build something with 12kdV and you don't have to worry about where to land.

Why does the Eve in kerbalmaps not look like the Eve in KSP? There's a lot of water missing.

Maybe it's just the way it's flat? Be aware that most of the top and bottom is the poles.

No, it's definitely different. Look at the shape of the continents.

I think it's just a side-effect of the distortion you're guaranteed to get from projecting the surface of a sphere onto a flat plane. It's been acknowledged as a rather tricky thing to get right for centuries, which is why we have so many different types of map projections (because some are better for certain purposes than others).

I don't think that's it since the Mun, Minmus, Kerbin all are easy to follow from sphere to flat. Eve doesn't seem to be even close.

Alright. I haven't done much with Eve recently myself, so you may be right.
