unrealistic space movie moments

the point of this game is to basically just yell out moments in movies that were unrealistic due to physics and orbital mechanics

Basic rules

  1. remember only from space movies
  2. don't insult the directors (even Michael Bay) because they work very hard to make the movies we love
  3. this is not questioning the quality of movies but just moments that are not realistic
  4. keep in mind that some inaccuracies are there for the stories sack (such as the movie Elysium where the entire space station has no roof because as the director Neill Blomkamp has stated that it was essential to the story)
  5. this is about physic not the reality of the situation in the movie
  6. try to sound (funny) angry in your posts not real angry
  7. don't insult other posters if they listed a moment from your favorite movie
  8. remember to use spoilers if necessary
  9. specify the movie please instead of just in general
  10. just have fun

Also one more thing if someone thinks that the title for this forum game should be changed, post the title you want along with the movie moment

now for some examples:

*spoilers begin*

that scene in Gravity where Sandra Bullock cries in the Soyuz was so unrealistic because those tears should stay on her face instead of fly off

*spoilers end*

or even...

*spoilers begin*

why the heck that in Armageddon, when the astronauts were walking on that asteroid they looked like they were walking around in normal gravity

*spoilers end*

also i am slightly autistic and ADD/ADHD so these examples may not actually be funny

just have fun

in Elysium (I love Neill Blomkamp movies ok), when those ships fly straight up to elysium in a straight line, that is not realistic as we all know here unless those ships were going insanely fast which is unlikely, that should not happen

@MartGonzo

some times it makes sense if is just from one ship as you could be just hearing audio heard by the characters inside the ship (i am not saying that it's like that all the time but just saying)
