I've been around for about 4-5 days.....

I did not realize there was a "Welcome Aboard" forum, so I'm just now posting. Like I said, I've been playing for almost a week. I did watch one tutorial, I suppose, and from it learned a few tips I would never have figured out on my own. I watched Scott Manley's tutorial about orbiting the Mun. I felt like I wasn't really cheating because I had already done it once. But, I could not repeat it in 7-8 tries and got frustrated and then watched his video.

But, after all that, it was a little stop and go at first. But, now I'm doing well. I just did two missions and orbited Minimus twice, successful on first try. So, I felt pretty good about that.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here. I'm learning a lot about space travel.

G'day joe and welcome to the forum. Scott Manleys vids are an excellent way to learn all things KSP. Enjoy the game and feel free to ask if you have any major dramas. Small things like unexpected explosions and rapid deconstructions should not be regarded as unusual.

Awesome! I remember when I got the demo in v0.13 and tried landing on the mun with no clue what pro/retro grade, or periapsis and apoapsis where.

That was an interesting first landing... :D

I hope you enjoy your time here.
