Where did you get the figure for Kerbin's mass from?

1. Focus on Kerbin in the Tracking Station display.

2. Click on the Knowledge Base icon on the right edge of the screen (the bottom one of two).

3. ???

4. PROFIT!

The KSP wiki, it has more accurate values than the in-game Knowledge Base (although for convenience I only recorded them to five significant figures).

My theory? Kerbin is made of element 242, which has a density twice that of osmium. It also sits at the island of stability, meaning its half life is over 900 million years. The entire system was formed from a supernova of a hyper giant star 11 billion years ago. The star is still there, as its core collapsed into a black hole, which compressed the star's outer layers enough to sustain fusion. That star is now ultra dense, and sits at the center of the system.
