IPV Landing challenge.

Recommended Posts

I challenge anyone to send a lander to every planet in the Kerbol System by IPV without RCS or SAS. This defines the true power of KSP's potential as a flight-sim. If anyone is tough enough to bring a IPV (InterPlanetary Vessel, duh!) to every planet, without rendezvousing, they must be true KSP players.

Rule #1: DON'T USE REACTION WHEELS!

Rule #2: DON'T USE DEV TOOLS!

Rule #3: No use of weightless parts!

The above are prohibited and may result in exile from the challenge.

Good Luck [says sarcastically] :sealed:

What do you mean by IPV?

This... you really need to make it as clear as possible... and as you haven't banned the use of the Dev Menu, you'll get a load of people sticking the Mk.1 Pod on a small fuel tank and using infinite fuel.

I hate rules lawyering myself, happened to me when I posted my first challenge, but the people talking the talk were only trying to help me understand that there are some out there who will cheat as much as possible if you aren't more specific... It's pretty harsh, but you get the hang of it

You cannot send anything controllable without SAS. Every command pod and probe core comes with SAS. Even the command chair. Of course you don't have to turn it on and use it, but it can't be really checked.

Maybe you meant without reaction wheels? That would make more sense but again, they're part of each probe core and command pod.
