That sinking feeling...

I've just gotten my first successful boat into the water! Hooray for me.

It's got winches for anchors or retrieving splashed parts, and it's all electric, so no worries about it running out of fuel.

However, now I want to deploy something that sinks. I know that the KAS anchor should sink (Haven't tested that theory yet...), but are there any other non-buoyant parts without using specialist submarine parts?

Not in stock that I know of. Even girders seem to float.

I think some people have used rocket engines to propel down to the sea bed, but they'll still bob back up when you stop thrusting. There is, if I remember right, also a bug that will cause you no end of trouble if you go more than a few hundred metres below the water.
