New to the game

Hi to all,

I thought I would take the time to say hello before losing myself in oblivion forgetting to eat, sleep, wash... just space and a Kerbal... you know lol.

Would anyone mind pointing me in the right direction for a "how to" for installing mods and extension etc as I'm quite new to PC gaming. I will use the search in future but if no one had questions then no one would have answers!

I'm sure some people would disagree, but I might recommend playing without mods for a while to get the hang of it first. I tried running a few mods when I started and I didn't know enough about KSP to know that they were screwing me over consistently. Now that I've played a lot the mods are effing AWESOME but... Vanilla is the best way to learn, in my opinion.
