Race One, here we go.

This is a brand new track, not included in the pack files. If anyone needs a .trk file, you will have to create one yourself. I use MoveKSC so the file will be incompatible.

The red arrow and line denote the start line and the direction.

Working on an entry at the moment. I must ask though, how strict is the "not going on the grass" rule? I know you get disqualified for it if you do it intentionally to cheat, but what if you come off of a sharp turn and one of your front wheels briefly goes onto the grass before you correct it and get it on the pavement again. That type of miscalculation, in general, would actually make the route slightly longer, so is it legal or illegal?

Also, do I need to get the plugin if I plan on recording my lap and posting it on youtube?

Also, work on my car is going well. It can handle most tight corners without needing to slow down, and can easily get through the railings by the astronaut complex at medium to high speeds.

So, the last few weekends have been busier than I expected, and this weekend isn't looking any better. (My job means weekdays are right out when it comes to KSP.) As such, I'm not going to be able to submit a car before the end of the month at the earliest.

Good to hear from you again, SolarLiner. I remember you made the crazily long circuit in the original competition.

As for submitting, PM them directly to me. Just an image will suffice.

It doesn't really look like people are too interested in this anymore, but should there be another season of this, it might be interesting to have a look at InfiniteDice's ICE pack when the next update comes out.

That sounds like a reasonable explanation, and looking back my post may have seem overly pessimistic.

At any rate, it was my pleasure. At the very least, the drifting ability of the wheels should make for interesting design possibilities. And, of course, the engine and transmission.

Interesting idea, though I don't find the intense rule restrictions appealing.

Perhaps you could make several classes of racers, with different rule sets? For instance, I will almost always use Ruggedized wheels. And what about Vernier engines? Any who, I might make one any way, guess we'll see :wink:
