Apparently, they're using "printed" engines, and they'll keep the parachutes in the ship for emergencies.

Darn cool stuff, the control screens looked like they wouldn't be out of place in a Tesla! On that note, me and a friend joked about them sending a Model S to space, and here SpaceX is, doing just that!

I really liked the "stupidly fast stairs" part, where Elon seemed to be like "Ok here we go, I'm just gonna walk all casually into my new spaceship. Nothing out of the ordinary here."

Ahh yea. I did notice it, and wondered what it was for. But he did say "survive for days" must be only jettisoned right before reentry and that's how they get power to survive.

The ship just looks even more fantastic than I had expected! The two things that I wasn't expecting though was their concept of reusing the docking port cover as well as what appeared to be a new body for the rear/service module/Whatever section (The non reusable solar cell bit). Awsome work SpaceX!!!

We should get squad to give us a capsule that looks a bit like the new Spacex one that had built in landing rockets and maybe a crew of about 5! With that fantastic control panel of course. 1000 science point parts anyone?
