Pride of Kerbol. I can't believe we chose such a pretentious name. There is no way that will not return to haunt us.

Our five days in interplanetary space have been rather uneventful so far. All systems operating normally, fusion drives haven't exploded, not even a stopped toilet. I feel like bad luck is waiting to hit us all at once... or maybe I'm being superstitious.

Still, an old sailor can hardly just be rid of his doubts, eh?

Another accident-free week. Come on, fate, quit toying with us. There is no way a ship with two hundred seperate systems will have NO failures during a shakedown cruise.

Captain Pressley commented today on the fusion drives. Apparently the eggheads are working to create a, quote, foldspace drive. Apparently FTL travel isn't so impossible.

Duna station Halcyon reports they refitted one of their docking bays to accomodate us. I feel like an overly-pampered prince here, not a space vessel's commander.
