... my first manned orbital flight in career mode. This has me more nervous than my first time trying to launch anything when I first played the game... Probably because I know so many of the horrible deaths a kerbal can suffer, this time. Will Jeb survive, or will Bill and Bob have to go hire a new partner?....

What are you using for lower stage engine? Not many hydrolox lower stages...

Kerolox if I recall. Still slogging my way through science in this current game, though earlier I launched and completed my first Lunar mission. Didn't think to get screens though, but if I did it once, I can do it again... (and I have go back anyway, LOL). Managed an effective ~1km periapsis pass, before redirecting back into Earth orbit to transmit the experiments. A little bit of easy-mode going on with Jeb 9000 on that front, but if not, I'd probably be pulling my hair out trying to get some of the early science done.

Ah, I mentioned because the first shot with data shows you burning LH2. Was that an upper stage then?

Yeah, well, early spacecraft were *all* automatic.

True, and up until my lunar sounding mission, I'd been mostly hands-on to orbit. My nerves were shot after the first few. The sputnik II knockoff I launched, that made it up, wound up having to have a WAC module slapped on so I'd at least have SAS for that one.

I'm currently setting up a basic commsat constellation, have the 3rd sat on ascent while writing, into geosync. It's really awesome to be getting this stuff done, with these mods. I'd started growing bored with doing the same in stock-scale. Gives it all a greater sense of accomplishment whenever I get something up.

Parts used on the rocket... Stock, Procedural Parts(the tanks), Procedural Fairings, Real Chutes, RemoteTech, AIES, and FASA(launch clamps). I think that's all of 'em. About the only thing I don't have in this set right now, is Engine Igniter, as I have yet to achieve that level of design capability...
