Volume/mute

I tried to search but I couldn't find any thing. Is there a volume control or mute button in the program? My computer is my phone and the back ground music can get annoying.

If you are in flight, just hit Esc and click settings. There is a slidebar for every type of ingame sounds.

To do so before starting a game, just go in settings from the main menu and hit the "audio" tab, there will be the same sliders, plus a few more options.

PS : If you are looking for a mute shortcut button, there is none.

if you're using Windows, right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Open Volume Mixer. From there you can easily mute the game or adjust its sound level relative to other programs.

Every kind of phone I know off also has a volume button, so I don't even understand how it's relavent

I believe he uses his computer as a phone, not a phone as his computer.

Lots of people use skype, VOIP, or other phone-over-internet services. Having music running on another program when using something like skype can interfere with the audio (or at least make it hard to hear).

In this case, editing volume levels via the task bar will probably not help as it would lower the phone volume too.

No, the Windows Volume Mixer lets you adjust audio levels for programs individually, so you can make Skype louder and KSP quieter. But really in this case it would be easiest just to mute the KSP audio rather than bother adjusting the Windows audio levels

Ahh. Well I suppose that depends on what windows version is being used. Mine is a bit in the computer stone ages.
