Are there real Space Alerts

Not like natural disasters but.. Aliens, borg ETC. Are there such things? i had a nightmare that the borg came, and a Space Alert- Alien Invasion sounded. Is that real?

The closest thing to this might be the SETI project, if they did one day actually find evidence of intelligence they'd get the word out, and if it was hostile, pretty quickly I'd imagine.

Other than that there's the deep space tracking networks of the US and Russia that look for whatever, asteroids, satellites, whatnot, there's no "alert" for either those or SETI though, it'd be a press release after discussion with whoever is in charge.

The US at least has multiple invasion contingency plans which is either really, really dumb or really, really smart.
