So, i have plenty games on my steam account. My favorite game is free to play (oh the irony) team fortress 2. About a month ago, i noticed that my skills are getting worse! I cant play as good as i could about two months ago. What the hell is happening? Same situation with homeworld 2 (cant beat bots at easy level anymore). Same in ksp (cant get my ssto into orbit without doing something bad). Idk what to do :(

Not to mention counter strike, after playing it for 200 hours, im even worse than i was.

You do realise that videogames are here for fun and relax, do you?

Anyway my advice:

You obviously play too much videogames it is not good for you. Too much similar activity overstresses your body and it gets tired. Focus more on sports or other outside activity. Your body will recover a bit and you will get better again.

Simple rule:

Your relax activity should be different to your everyday duties.

Wich means:

If you have lot of mental activity (students, teachers, engineers, etc.) your freetime should be focused on manual activity (Sports, gardening, tourism etc)

If you have lot of body activity (Sportsmans, manual workers, etc) then you need mental activity to relax. (Reading, self education, painting, music "i mean playing not listening", Videogames etc.)

That off course doesnt mean that students cant play videogames at all, or Workers couldnt do sports at all, but everione should make sure that he has enough active relaxing activities in theyr everyday schedule.

I'm basically going to second KOCOUR here. It's very much possible to get overloaded or "burnt out" on a video game, just like with any other hobby. Sometimes, if it starts to feel like something you enjoy is getting to be a chore, it's wise to "decompress" by finding another hobby to take your mind off of things, then come back to it when you're ready.
