Little 3d Printed Rocket

Recommended Posts

This semester I had a Digital Media class in school. We do all kinds of digital stuff, from stick figure animations (pivot) to Photoshop. Something new we did was we used a web-app (because it wasn't power intensive... we have old computers) called Tinkercad to make little objects (unless you wanted to pay extra) and get them printed at Shapeways. I decided to make a little rocket, because why not?

Aw, now that's cute. How about a proper model rocket, like the old Estes Mosquito

I've launched model rockets before, lots of fun. Forget what my rocket is called (I painted it differently and didn't use decals), but the parachute tether broke off so I'd have to fix that before I can launch again.

That looks so cute. Print moar if you can.

This was just a little thing for school, and they're pretty expensive to print out of this material, something like $8. Otherwise I totally would.
