Title

I dunno why but recently ive started playing at around 10-20 fps for some reason ... now i dont remember what i added recently to my mod collection so what i want is for others ppl that might know a mod or something that is known to lower the performance ..

Here it goes:

- ActiveTextureManagement-3-1

- DockingPortAlignment_3.1

- Engineer Redux v0.6.2.4

- EnhancedNavBall_1_2

- FerramAerospaceResearch_v0_13_3

- KerbalAlarmClock_2.7.4.0

- KerbalJointReinforcement_v2.3

- Kethane-0.8.6

- Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System

- KSPInterstellar-v0.11

- KW Rocketry

- ModuleManager-2.1.5

- TacFuelBalancer_2.3.0.2

- Toolbar

- MechJeb2

- Chatterer

- DMagic Orbital Science

- Protractor

I know its a bit of a list and it may be that the sheer amount of mods that cause my game to go from 30-50 fps to 10-20 but i only saw this drop in fps just recently ... one thing that i added recently is MechJeb2 ... does it really impact performance so much? Idk how i would play without it ... I once spent 3-4 hours trying and retrying to get to Minmus and not running out of fuel (too many course corrections used up my fuel) so MechJeb2 was just what i need.

Anyway, anything jumps out as possibly heavy on perfomance?

Well, the deltaV calculations in both MJ and KER do cause some slowdown. Theoretically, KER should be better than MJ in this respect as most of the KER calculations are done in a background thread. Make sure that you close any window that shows a deltaV readout and see if the performance improves.

KER also has a tweakable slider that allows you to control how often the deltaV calculations are done. If you really need the calculations (I usually only open the VES tab during flight just before doing a burn to make sure I have enough) then drag the "Sim Time" slider all the way to the right which will make it only calculate approx once per second.

I also believe that FAR does quite a lot of work though I presume you've had this installed for longer and I wouldn't expect it to do much at all while outside the atmosphere...
