AmbientLightShifter is a nifty little plugin that changes ambient light to a more realistic shade. No longer will you have no use for lights, and mun landings will

be much harder at night.

0.1001 nothing notable, just version compatibility

I did a small test run to the Mun and the dark side actually felt spooky, so cheers for the nice plugin .

Oh noes, I totally forgot this thread ever existed. Well, time to get working on this thread again. As for AmbientLightShifter, it still works fine in 0.24.2. I apologize for forgetting about this.

Well, to be specific, it makes the dark darker but does not change the brightness of the lit areas; although it contrasts more with the dark and may feel brighter.

Sweet! Thanks for this! I was just asking yesterday for something EXACTLY like this! I found another mod that adjusts brightness but it also made everything else darker. Now I have a reason to install lights again! YAY!

This is simply perfect! I love it!

When it is night, your ship simply disappears as soon as you are out of the lower atmosphere. Now lights on your vessel looks better and are useful.

I'm sorry every body, I will have to take from modding for personal and financial reasons.nOn the flip side, Ambient light shifter should be compatible with 0.25.

I'm really surprised this plugin doesn't get more attention from the realism people. Any chance someone will take over this for compatibility for future updates?

PlanetShine already does the same thing, plus much more.

However AmbientLightShifter is still good if you only want to change the vacuum light, and the way it's simply coded it should continue to work through future updates
