I realize that there\'s a bug in this version that means you might not be able to control the throttle on any ship after you\'ve landed (or crashed) in one of the ships with dodADA.

I think I\'ve figured out what\'s causing that, when I figure out how to fix it I\'ll update again.

In the meantime to get around the bug you must restart KSP. Annoying, I know, sorry :-[

Thanks it worked. I was a little confused by the DS_STORE files.

DS_STORE are files that a Mac adds automatically to folders. They\'re invisible to Mac users, but show up when a folder gets sent to a Windows computer. Sorry!

It works the other way too—when I get zips from Windows they always have a file called thumbs.db.

For the time being, to avoid the bug, make sure you turn off dodADA (by pressing \'y\' again) before switching vessels. It\'s switching vessels (or crashing) with dodADA still on that\'s causing the bug.

The good news is that now I know what\'s causing it I should be able to fix it!

Well I just had a ship that I modified with the new version (it didn\'t had your part yet).

I couldn\'t use throttle at all on launch.

Yeah, I think I\'ve fixed the bug now, download 5.1 and tell me if that\'s better?

On topic: Everything now seems to work. But still 1 thing. When restarting the mission, I can\'t control the throttle for some seconds. That when you restart the mission when you didn\'t set the plugin of.

I don\'t think that\'s the plugin— I think it\'s normal for inputs to be frozen momentarily when restarting a mission, or loading a new flight. You hear a sort of rushing sound at the same time.

What the fuck did you change to it? It won\'t land anymore. S:| nvm It seems the thing don\'t work with machJeb S:|

Point is, I see their is a new \'automatic legs\' that look just like the stock legs. Fair enough. I decided to use the stock legs and see what would happen when I pressed \'Y\'. I was surprised to see that the Y key still worked with the stock legs - all the way down to a gentle touchdown.

Is the \'automatic leg\' part necessary? I didn\'t use it. Can I delete it? Shall I try it? If it is unnecessary then you should remove this from your package to keep it lean and mean. 8)

Thanks for your work. This makes my Mun landings far more enjoyable!

That\'s quite funny! I hadn\'t noticed that, and it\'s really not what I intended to happen!

I\'ll see what I can do to stop it (I would rather have it only work for a ship that has the part on it, that way if there are mods that conflict with this one you can still use it in the same game).

Tell me— when you tested without the legs was there another ship with the legs on in the game? Nearby? I think what might be happening is other ships are loaded, and the flight computer from that ship is being used.

Well, you don\'t have to use it :). Personally I\'m doing it because I\'m enjoying the challenge of coding it. I\'m just happy to release it for others to play with/learn from.

I started it because I honestly found the throttle too difficult to control with just the keyboard. I\'ve found throttle control alone really helpful for when I\'ve been trying to maneuver at low altitudes on the Mun, it\'s stopped me from crashing a number of times. It\'s also really useful for landing top-heavy or large rockets, especially when they need a really sensitive touch on the controls.

Adding in the rest of the landing automation was just the natural progression of what to do next! I have an idea for another cool plugin too, but want to get this one in a proper releasable state first.

I enjoy the throttle control as i think that is too hard/sensitive but if there is an option in the cfg to not use the autosteering then i would make that setting. :)

Yeah, I\'m definitely making that an option, don\'t worry :)
