SirCmpwn
Have enough to cover the new cert, feel free to send more if a wildcard cert is in the cards. Not sure what to do with more subdomains yet, though.

Not sure what to do with more subdomains yet, though. Some ideas in my head:api.kerbalstuff.com (useful because it can control request limits without completely blocking access to the site)cdn.kerbalstuff.com (image cache, etc.)blog.kerbalstuff.com (something simple, WordPress or a quick hack)status.kerbalstuff.comLess intelligent ideas in my head:[your secret easter egg].kerbalstuff.comwww.www.kerbalstuff.com (bet the cert doesn't cover this )users.kerbalstuff.com (useful for support mailing lists, so that email gets redirected to project managers. Just an idea.)ftp.kerbalstuff.com (I mean even Microsoft has an FTP, right??)gopher.kerbalstuff.com (-1 rep)tracker.kerbalstuff.com (in case you want to P2P download your mods..)That's it for now... SirCmpwn
New optional dark theme. Enable it from your profile. This feature comes from the folks at Modulous, who run a fork of Kerbal Stuff that hosts Smash mods. Edited August 30, 2015 by SirCmpwn
CaptRobau
You mentioned the certificate was bought, but the site is inaccessable because the connection cannot be secured. Quite bad timing if I may say so, because I was just about to launch the latest update to my mod.

LitaAlto
Can you explain more about how you're connecting to Kerbal Stuff? I am able to access it without any problems on the new certificate. There may be a few people who don't have the intermediate RapidSSL SHA256 CA - G4 certificate needed to validate the Kerbal Stuff certificate. This is a relatively new intermediate cert and there may be some people using outdated browsers, OS configs, or in some cases online security monitors who don't have it yet. Here's one complaint earlier along these lines--but updating Chrome seemed to resolve the issue. My recommendation to CaptRobau is to check for browser updates, and if you're using Windows and IE, make sure you have all security updates installed. Some antivirus and Internet security applications may also need updating as they often replace the original certificate with their own for intercepting malicious web-based attacks. (I dislike such things but will leave it at that.)- - - Updated - - -Update your antivirus and your browser and you should be ok. Once I did that there was no longer a connection problem. How did you post before I did!? Oh, right, I forgot to hit "post".... Randazzo
I'm probably having an X-Files moment, but...Over the past few days I've noticed a big increase (inexplicably) in the number of downloads on the mods I have hosted on Kerbal Stuff (except Custom Clusters.. even sinister forces hate that one, apparently). This by itself is not a bad thing, however it appears to be the oldest version available of each mod that is experiencing the spike. It started on Monday, 8-31. http://kerbalstuff.com/mod/723/Heat%20Managementhttp://kerbalstuff.com/mod/973/Vanguard%20Astrodynamics%20VX%20Series%20Stockalike%20Engine%20Packhttp://kerbalstuff.com/mod/996/Kinetic%20Penetrator%20by%20Vanguard%20AstrodynamicsThe VX series and Heat Management were both relatively recently updated so that's not entirely unusual, but the Kinetic Penetrator hasn't been, and the "Event" is most noticeable in it's statistics. It's gone from 10-20 downloads a day to 172 since 8-31, but again, the oldest version available which is really weird in this case. And it's not just my stuff.http://kerbalstuff.com/mod/744/Atomic%20Agehttp://kerbalstuff.com/mod/1052/Lithobrake%20Exploration%20Technologieshttp://kerbalstuff.com/mod/338/SXT%20-%20Stock%20eXTensionIt's a little less obvious with those more impressive download statistics, but it's there. So, is there a sinister plot afoot or is there some sort of odd reporting error going on?

TiktaalikDreaming
SirCmpwn, I've been trying to muddle out how the CKAN integration works on KS.I have a mod, (https://kerbalstuff.com/mod/781/Super%20Heavy%20Boosters%20Historical%20-%20Nexus) that is listed on CKAN (which is pretty awesome work on your part, seeing I had not touched CKAN at all until yesterday), but it's the 0.9 build. And it won't update. I've made some changes to try and get things updated, but can't figure out what I need to do to get the mod to update CKAN.I'm a complete n00b as far as CKAN goes. I do have an install (as of yesterday) and have mucked about trying to get the Nexus to update, but it's pretty well stuck on 0.9. My guess at what's going on is that whatever fancy cleverness you did to list mods happened when my mod was at 0.9, and that's what's listed. But that the mod itself is badly formed for CKAN, so never updates. To make matters worse, the zip for 0.9 seems to be the daftest of folder structures ever. I have no idea how drunk I was when I built that file.

oniontrain
I'm also getting untrusted cert errors when trying to connect via firefox. My browser and antivirus (avast) are both up to date. It doesn't do it in IE, but i don't particularly want to use IE for anything. I've added an exception in Avast, I think this is a problem specifically with firefox. Does anybody else have any ideas? I'm really only getting this error with kerbalstuff, every other site I visit regularly is fine.

oniontrain
Ah, thanks. That worked fine. That is rather odd that it would default to SSL, I assumed that was the only version since it did that. Thanks for the fix, I literally need kerbal mods to live.
