Yes, I would love larger legs, Some of my large miners has up to 20 legs. Yes its a probably a bit overkill but needed for pad testing. 
Larger legs should also have the option to spread out wider who is nice for high and thin stuff, think Falcon9 first stage. 
This is not an good option with current legs
