A statement on part clipping

Start KSP, load save, open debug menu, enable clipping and then start playing.

I do not use it to stack fuel tanks inside eachother.

I use it to hide RTG's and battery packs mostly.

Purely for astetics.

Never saw any of the shuttles carrying their batteries outside the hull

and when removing parts.

I'm of the same mind. All the electrical components are stored inside the aircraft, not glued to the outside! In any event, you still have to haul the weight, and even suffer the drag through the atmosphere. It's all the same, in the end.

i think part clipping is great, and in fact i usually turn it on when i enter the vab. I think part clipping is needed to make decent replicas of ships like the apollo LEM.
