SCIENCE! What's the most you have gotten in one mission? How did you do it?

Looks like we all have some good "Big fish" stories but not many pictures guys, pics or it didn't happen ;) What kind of crafts are you using? Are you using mods? turning on infinite fuel? I'm somewhat of a purist when it comes to KSP so the mission I ran was 100% vanilla and no infinite fuel.

Don't sing it, bring it :)

This remarkable ugly rocket is my first Minmus lander.

The two towers are drop tanks for going to minmus and goo and labs for far and close to Minmus.

Lander itself has 8 goo and material labs in the four outriggers. two of the outriggers has four legs so I can drop the first set of outriggers then I have done the experiments and used the fuel in their tanks.

I tend to only sample 4 biomes with this and do an second mission with an pretty similar lander who also have gravity and seismic sensors, it has a larger core and legs on them so I can continue after dropping outriggers to do gravity and seismic science on the previously visited areas.

Finally an Mun rover also based on much of this design but with wheels.

Mods used here is TAC life support, mechjeb and a part to store science, it let me return two samples and let me keep the pod for transmitting data.

Oh, pipe up already. I could dig up an old savegame and create a screenshot, but what for?

Milking the Mun will yield on the order of 9000 points, you could establish that merely by looking at the wiki. Collecting them is a question of a) having all science equipment + docking unlocked before you start B) bringing enough fuel c) the will to do it in a single mission. It's not complicated as such.

I know what wiki says and I'm quite able to get science my own way as we clearly all are. I was just hoping we could interact and share different ways of doing things. The point of this thread wasn't so that I could be directed to the data I already have.
