Any games where you can build your own stuff?

If any of have played kerbal space program than you know where im getting at but if not il give you a bit more detail.So im looking for a game that gives you componets and you use them tu build diffrent mechanical,electric and other things,not like it gives you the part and you have to place them in a specific order i want total freedom so i can let my imagination loose and create crazy stuff.thanks

It's unlikely that there's a game like that somewhere because from what you're talking about, the coding would be extremely complex compared to KSP.
