Abandon Your Saves

Upgrades are always going to change the game parameters, that's the fun of it. You've got a ship, station or base (or battleship WTF!) you're proud of, fine but now build it under the new rules. Or, which is more likely, you'll find that a new challenge has been thrown up and you'll enjoy doing that.

That being said I wish I had a Nicole for ever time my save games have been lost on updates of RELEASED (if not alpha nor beta versions) of other games, so....

I'd also like a Sarah and Mary for everytime that happens too....:P

I used to be like this.. I would always make a copy of the old game folder when a new update dropped, clinging to my old save. But once I moved on to the new update, usually within a week, I found that I never played my old file again.

I simply rename the entire KSP directory to it's version number and install the new update all fresh and clean. If I want my old save I can still play it, but I usually don't!

As long as the game is incomplete I really don't care about saves, I will always have the memories. (Does anyone really forget their first successful launch?) :)

Same but still drop in once in awhile to re-live and to see how much the game has evolved, still have V0.16 just for that
