Terrain/map Editor?

I couldn't find anywhere a real KSP map/terrain editing tools, so if anyone knows how could i (for example) make mountains,holes/caves,change textures(that are visible on the ground,there already is a addon or something that lets you reskin planets(not sure if it affects ground that is visible when landed)),ect (i know about kerbtown, but maybye there is a way to make it permanent and probably interactable like the VAB/SPH). We already have MoHole and several other holes (1-2 on mun's poles).

Any help/explanation/facts would be appreciated.
