How will the 64bit version be released?

Some simple question about the new 64 bit release on steam...

As you can see at this page http://steamdb.info/app/220200/depots/ there are 4 version of KSP now, but the 32 bit one has a lot of info (http://steamdb.info/depot/220201/) and it is a 1.52 GB install, the 64 bit seems to be a dev version with no info about the files, and seems to be "incomplete" (753.95 MB), so how will the it be released? As a stand alone installation, as an optional patch or will they merge it with the 32 bit one?

How can i upgrade KSP? Will it be automatically upgraded to 0.24 @ 64 bit, or will it still be @ 32 bit?

And if it will still be 32 bit, how can I upgrade to the 64bit one?

Will there be a new game on my steam library, kerbal 64 bit, avaiable to install? Or maybe the installation process will ask us if we want it in 32 or 64 bit?

In other word... to have the 64 bit version can i just let steam upgrade it automatically, or do I have to unistall it and reinstall the 64bit one? Can i have at the same time the 32 and 64 bit?

What makes you think it would mess with mods or saves in the first place?

Some mods and plugins may not work correctly with 64-bit (see the corresponding topics) until (and if ever) they're updated, but will work flawlessly with 32-bit, and vice versa. So it's better to have two installations.

I'd prefer two separate distributions, with two separate entries in Steam library. Anyone who bought KSP, will get them both. That way it won't mess with mods and saves.

Oh God no. I don't want to have to contact Valve and have them remove it from my account like I did with the Mac version of Civ 4. That was the biggest headache I have ever known. If Squad tries to screw up my Steam library like this I might just abandon the game.

Why would you have to do that?

I would have it removed. I've done it before. You don't want to know how big my Steam library is and I don't need rouge developers doubling and tripling the entries on it for the same game.
