How did you solve the initial FOUR contracts?

In my new started Career i've done it quite easy. Accept all four. Get a Command Pod out to Launch Pad & to Runway, collect Crew Report, Sample and EVA, recovered for 100%. 2 Missions done, no Contract. Unlocked two Tech Nodes. Build a useful Rocket with Decouplers and things. 3rd Mission but 1st actual Launch and completed all four in that first flight. (Without kerbalish explode-decoupling )

I achieved the first 3 with a 4 fuel tanks and a the large rocket, launching straight up I achieved a maximum height of about 80km

After completing the 5,000 m contract, I noticed that the World's 1st Society has other altitude contracts between 5,000 m and "escape the atmosphere",

Oh, so I missed out on them by shooting for space in the first try?
