It was accidentally removed, and people keep searching for it to see if it is back. Squad never says a thing.

It will be updated. But it is actually more like a collection. I leave the easter egg hunt to you guys

The code should still exist. If we can find it's code someone could probably re-add it.

There should also be an expedition to some of the borked-out existing easter eggs, like the [spoilerS AHEAD] buried rover cam on Duna, the Duna SSTV signal, underground monoliths, etc.
