Solar storm.

Well I just found out that a solar storm (Not aimed enough at earth to cause any damage.) is going to supercharge the northern lights. So look for the Northern Lights tonight, they were around last night and will only be here again tonight.

The flare is the biggest in five years but luckily wont hit us, they are just going to pass by.

So look out for the Northern lights.

Not entirely correct from what I\'ve read. It\'s not directly aimed at us, but it is certainly is hitting us. And the forecast here predicts intense lights on Friday:

Though this may mean Friday morning. Either way, I\'m staying up both tonight and tomorrow to try to get a look at them.

Imma gonna guess you are in Australia, as I am willing to bet anyone north of the Tropic of Cancer has a fair chance of seeing these, light pollution allowing.

Well I\'m not surprised my power grid didn\'t get damaged, one of the topics on this was updated on space.com because they got new info...

Why does everyone else get the good stuff..

(I do live in the US but never get hit with this stuff D:. CURSE YOU SUN!!!!)
