Yeah, sorry I haven't had a chance to check and try and get things working with module manager. Perhaps tonight, sorry I can't make any promises!

Me and Peadar are now playing have finished playing PM tag regarding ModuleManager compatibility and are now preparing for a pre-release, or something. There will be no more overwriting of the StoryDefs.cfg in the Squad folder.

Is there somewhere in the contracts API to intercept and parse the text about to be shown to the player? I ask purely out of laziness since you chaps are already working in that area. I was idly speculating on making something to alter the text on the fly as a joke mod - like a swedish chef filter or Klingon.

I'm not sure what you mean. To the best of my knowledge, the "flavor text" of the contract is generated by the definitions of an agency's "mindset". You can write a .cfg file that will add Klingons or swedish chef filters, and if April Fool's day rolls about again, then we might.

About altering the text on the fly-maybe. I'm not sure where contracts that have already been generated are stored, but I'm sure you could write a tool that would edit them in-game.
