Build a WWII Prop Fighter Replica

My request for you guys is to build WWII era fighter aircraft replicas as best you can with any mods you want. The aircraft must have first flown between 1930 and 1950! Discuss and post your pictures below.

A good challenge needs some way for players to compete. How would they compete in this challenge? Voting perhaps?

This sort of thing sounds more like the subject of a craft showcase than a challenge, so I'll be moving it to the Spacecraft Exchange

The OP says to do it with ANY MODS YOU WANT. It is not a stock parts only thing.

And mike - you misunderstand me, I was wondering how cool it would be if Squad's next game was a "build and fly your own" flight-sim. It was a 'nice idea, this could become a whole game in itself' post.
