Introducing the Jetmaster Doc II

This rocket was designed to meet the problems players have had, when practicing their docking manoeuvres.

Although docking has not officially being implemented yet in kerbal space program this does not stop us from trying.

This rocket was designed to meet the problems players have had when practicing their docking manoeuvres.

The most distinct feature of the Doc II is that is an A symmetrical rocket. The fuel pipes even form an arrow to show not only the front of the ship, but also the top of the ship.

This helps with orientating yourself so you can use the RCS thrusters effectively for manoeuvres.

Using one half tank of fuel as a counter weight ( possible room for payload? ) it is hardly the most efficient rocket, but has plenty of room to be adapted for future missions.

The Doc II also has plenty rocket fuel and RCS fuel for most orbital missions around kerbin... or for launching one satellite and de-orbiting another 8)

Hopefully in the future docking will allow the transfer of fuel, crew and modules (much like how the ISS was built) between spacecraft.

But right now I could in theory grab small objects in orbit around Kerbin and take them to the mun. (or vice versa)

The potential for this craft to be upgraded for almost any mission will mean it will stick around in my hanger for a long time to come.

Even if it becomes a glorified space tug.

Brilliantly done and I love the asymetrical design! 8)

Tried something similar (with the landing leg docking grab but on a more vanilla rocket) but ended up with a large amount of debris for my pains so all credit to you for a successful dock.
