Some designs I wanted to share that were a big deal do me. These occurred over the past 8 months I think. They are my journey to a large scale SSTO using stock parts. The vehicle to the right has been released before. It is the only SSTO here. The "engine" is of course parts I put together in the VAB. I was actually going for something more ambitious, specifically my own hybrid engine, but in the end it is a good jet engine suited for high altitude operations, with a unique look.

Things important to me: the 2 engine is a pure Delta having no canards. This vehicle was used numerous times as a mothership for a smaller parasitic spaceplane. The three engine variant was one of those moments when you know you found the right combination. It has good control, stability, maneuverability, acceleration, and top speed. Probably the best high altitude cruiser I have made. The third surprisingly has less wing area than the other two. This was purely an aesthetic consideration! It has engine grouping (1 & 2) on the jets, and group 3 is the rocket. The groupings are for final atmospheric acceleration, so as to double the intakes per engine. It's utility is actually minimal I have found.
