Wales Class Battlecruiser

(KSP, 25.0) This is a 1500 part Leviathan Battleship. It weighs over 600 tonnes, and carries 22 anti-ship missiles.

Oh good it just has more parts than mine(to be fair that's just a carrier though)

What type of missile splits a Drek?

1.5 metre ones(or a MAC)

Sorry about the wait, I had to have the ships converted properly.

One Longsword mk2 (Recognize anything?) in the far reaches of Vall, just outside the range of the small fighters.

If I may, let me explain... The Drek 27 is brand new armor (never tried this before), is 20 tonnes lighter than an XIV, has much room for improvements I haven't added onto yet, and is still the -I Variant. Your "Drek Killing" has just told me where its weak spots are. Rest assured you won't find them on the -II when I'm done with it...

Imagine if this all was happening in MP; total chaos would reign.

Zekes, I concede. I wasn't planning on this, but here's why:

1. My new ship is a mutt. It simply has become a bit... overgrown, to say the least, and I think it'd be better if I took my time to make new craft and use the lessons learned from this battle to enhance them.

2. I've got other projects I'd like to work on currently.

3. I've underestimated how much work it would take to upgrade my armaments for 0.25. (Weapons, not ships.)

alright, it was a good battle, your Mx-3s were certainly very tough... I will have to figure out how to kill those more effectively in the future. Good luck on your other projects and weapons.

Final battle stats (for both battles):

Enemy ships knocked out: 3

Friendly ships damaged: 1

Friendly ships lost: 0

All Zokesian Ships made it back to base under their own power. Enemy pilots (8) were picked up and sent to POW camp.

Loss Report: 6 missiles, minor damage to HMS Tanzwut

That puts me at +2 victories around Vall, both thanks to Drekevak XXVIIs.... Which have just been upgraded.

Heavy Drek Mk XXVII-III

CHANGES:

Not much armor gain, but more around the barrel, in the rear

Redid the thin barrel cause it was annoyingly ineffective part-wize (it was about 120 parts, the new one is about 40)

Redid fuel lines from drop tanks and to emergency engines

Added two dockable ports on top and bottom of superstructure to allow for emergency docking during combat.

During Missile tests, 4 missiles were shot at it:

Missile 1: 300m, top, hit straight down on superstructure, caused no internal damage, loss of upper superstructure.

Missile 2: 400m, top, hit straight down on superstructure, caused no internal damage, loss of some of superstructure.

Missile 3: 300m, side, phased right through

Missile 4: 450m, side, phased right through

They have risen.... These steel beasts are the kings of the battlefield.

While the Panther II may not be very survivable against attacks, the

M.A.N.'s new Blitzewaffe Strike Tank is impervious to I-Beams and is able to shrug

off guided 1.25 m missiles with I-beam Impact tips.

Don't bother with disabling the wheels, the crewmen will repair them.

I might be able to do ground battles again with maybe a limit of 30 tons and 3-4 tanks per player.

Death of a roman

I decided to go all out at the legionary and try to do some damage.

After initial inspection it appeared fairly damaged surprisingly not damaging the top section.

But after a minute or two of warping it was shown that the top section was completely torn off within the first 3 shots.

It annoys me that you did not include docking ports on the missiles.

Now to arm it, and move on to making some new space vessels.

EDIT: Managed to pull off some really advanced acrobatics with this, at over 200 m/s the whole time... I think I'm ready to turn this into a fine fast-mover.

Also, yes: that center section IS a cargo bay.

I used a Hastati fighter to knock off one of the Mace's engines (I think?) Other than that no damage was done.

How does cupcake make these missiles work so well?

I retreated the fighter to high orbit now that its out of ammo.

Fast approach, almost collided on the flyby attack.
