What do you mean a "Pocket" Battleship? Does it mean a Heavy Cruiser/Battlecruiser or just a regular Cruiser in terms of size and tonnage? Or does this "Pocket" mean that I can put it in my real pocket and take it as a prize token after killing it in battle? :P

The images are taking forever to load for me Zekes so I can't see it.

Care to take this up on the battlefield? I can easily make you bite your tongue

Oi what's the stats of your ship specially the carrier? want to fight? It looks damn awesome and threatening. I'm pretty curious how effective those equipped weapons are (those are pointy detachable RCS missiles right?)

My only comment is that your fighter is lame just by looking at it, but by that I mean in terms of armament. I don't want to be blunt but those equipped weapons, the one with sepatrons are weak (fighter missiles). I suggest you replace it with something else. I can trade you the special heavy I-beams I use but in exchange I want a copy of the missiles on your "Avacyn" Assault Carrier (Damn*, seriously I love that name.. "Avacyn" what does it mean? also can you tell me the "Thalia" too)

Btw I realized that I need to make a fighter, Is it worth it to make a fighter with a carrier for battle? I have no experience.

My only comment is that your fighter is lame just by looking at it, but by that I mean in terms of armament. I don't want to be blunt but those equipped weapons, the one with sepatrons are weak (fighter missiles). I suggest you replace it with something else. "Avacyn" what does it mean? also can you tell me the "Thalia" too)

I name all my vehicles after Magic: The Gathering characters (because why not?) the latter is a badass angel and the other one is a badass guardian of a demonic vault.

As for the ships. The carrier is actually very weak in structure (not a new issue) and I'm trying to rebuild it from the ground up. As for the monoprop missiles; I tested one on a Kenji Drekevak and tore the front off so that should give you a good idea of its power arxiJRS.png

I don't have a subassembly for the missiles but I do have download links for both ships

Have you built any other prior ships that we don't know other than those you just posted? do you have any specialties? Most of the people have their own signature when it comes to ship building. Btw If you are new here I welcome you I've been here for quite some time now. It's just that I took a break. Thanks for the Link. I will start working on it. About my missiles you can get them from the craft of the BASIL, it's a few posts above where the craft file is provided.

Thanks for the suggestion but I must decline as it would probably give my computer a metaphorical hemorrhage.

Also other than that there (might) also be the Vraska but otherwise I haven't the time to make too many orbital ships

I have finally finished the prototype design for an attack frigate, it still has to go through simulated combat to test it's armor and weapons, but this is the first ship that I feel stands a chance against any of yours. No pictures yet but I can get them soon.

As for a free-for-all zamo, that's never been feasable, takes too long to get everyone to play. And with ship development speed we'd create a new generation of ships before it was over!

I'll take my turn later today, got an advisor meeting and midterm to get through first.

Now that's a fresh design looking ship that I've seen for quite some time. It's almost similar to my diagonal multi-engine ship (Yes the engines itself is the armament)

I've finally finished rebuilding the Avacyn from the ground up using a structure similar to that zekes uses. But its unique shape means I have had to make tweaks of my own. It's unarmed for the moment but if it can survive a few missiles you guys throw at it, I'll keep, arm and reinstate it

Crew of 9.

Twelve flares and a single missile interceptor for defence.

Pure wing armor, although the tanks themselves are ok in terms of resistance.

One can guess the size just by counting the wings, 4x11x30. It's shape makes it very undense, it is bigger than a curtana despite being half the mass.

She's second in the next-gen combat fleet and will serve as lone ships, with a two fighter escort on the sides(will be carrying 720 more fuel when doing so)

Id be glad to join once i get something competitive out there. Unless ofc you want to fight based on part count.....i could bring what, 5 class-I corvettes or like 4 class-II corvettes PER 1 OF YOUR SHIPS, and how weak their armor is compared to you is irrelevalt, you dont even have enough ammo (and they aint guaranteed 1 shot kills :D).

Im working on a new warship, trying to get a competitive low part count one out there, once its done (provided i can keep it below 200 parts), ill join the battle and vaporize everything with it). The hardest thing (which i cant see to accomplish) is making both useable (comparable to say drek, powerful enough to take a few nasty hits), and part count efficient armoring.

Ohh, and i finally managed to pull off 7.5K dV in a SSTO fighter that has 2 small missiles onboard, nothing too amazing (as its a easy kill), but i can pretty much start off in a battle near kerbin, and then go to eeloo right after taking a shot :D.

Also, hopefully zekes doesnt kill me for copying the poppers and making even more OP versions of them with altered engines (less mass, less thrust, less parts), and well, tires for the whole 1 shot vaporizing everything feature. Kinda like a cross between a popper and my older tripedo-Ms

Hey zamo, ur new ship is really cool. Its extremely hard to 1 shot kill with anything sub popperH or Tripedo-M (which i consider these 2 to be comparable.

Ive managed to around twice 1 shot the entire rear off (as in not a single engine left), but ive yet to actually 1 shot instantly vaporize the whole ship.

Btw, do u mind if i use that thing as a flagship for a faction in my comic? Ofc itll be modified (i dont need or want RCS systems on a capital ship, part count and very little actual use as you dont dock a capital that heavy to anything, you bring the something and dock it to the ship), and well, different weapons as i dont digg the part counts, but that hull is really nice for cinematics. Its really hard to vaporize with weaker ammo, but said ammo almost always blows a nice chunk off the ship leaving debri clouds every time its hit, while remaining relatively functional.

Ofc if your ok with it, ill give you credits (as i will for any ship i use that isnt my own).

Now to see what i can learn from your ship and perhaps implement in my own vessels, how i need better armor as im basically cannon fodder atm :D.

Just found the optimal angle, i can roughly 50% of the time do the following to your very tough but still killable vessel:

Its very good armor, but if you whack it dead center at a 45 degree angle from teh rear side, kaputs 50% of the time at least.

Guess that means the days of 1 shotting warships are still not over :(

Looks like that Drek got hit so hard it puked

Dreks are honestly overrated. They are great craft dont get me wrong, and it seems that with some luck even high end weapons can be bounced, but they still die like all other craft when you ram a torpedo up the correct spot at enough velocity.

That said, im using the drek as a guideline for armor levels, my ideal design would offer similar protection to say a drek 27 (one of the older ones), but without going over 200 parts om the hull nor over 60 tons in weight. Thatd be my dream ship, the only problem is that its very hard to make something like that without going into high part count territory.
