Hello everyone.

I've been playing KSP for about a month now and I realized I should check out the kerbal forums.

I do have a question though and if I need to take it to another part of the forum I will, but here it goes. After starting a new interstellar campaign I just landed on Kerbin after my first munar orbit. Everything went great until I had Jeb exit the vessel to plant his flag. He immediately exploded, What on earth happened? I'm just gutted to Jebediah.

Welcome to the forums! There is indeed a seperate help forum, but this will probably get moved there anyways. Your exploding Jeb was probably a glitch.

Yes, Welcome indeed! As for the exploding jeb, was there something placed on the capsule near the hatch? or maybe the capsule was glitching through the terrain due to low terrain settings and jeb collided with the terrain? Or maybe jeb just got too happy and exploded due to overjoy, completing his first munar orbit.

Thanks! Heh, I'm beginning to suspect that it may be the latter of the possibilities. So happy he just couldn't contain himself. Perhaps I shove at a slower pace... nah can't do it.

welcome to the Forum! I also had that bug sometimes. When I started playing KSP and walked away like 20m from my ship I just heard *puff* and my Kerbal.. Exploded? Since then I don't walk away too far from my vessels Since then I always try to bring a rover with me to prevent it.
