Add/Move page change button in VAB/SPH to top

The last days I encountered a little situation some times. While building a rocket I had to change constantly between different categories but the parts that I wanted to use where always on the second page. So had each time to move the mouse from the very top to the very bottom to change the page and back up again to the parts.

My suggestion is to either add a second page change button at the top of the part list or to move the current buttom from the bottom to the top. I think this would be much more ergonomically.

In all seriousness though , good idea. When I read the description I thought you meant a button to switch better VAB and SPH without having to go to space center. This is not as trivial of a change as it sounds because if you are building a rover, you can launch it from either VAB or SPH and editor extension plugin won't change launch location (only building symmetry)

Errr, it is certainly meant to change the launch location. I suggest you try this again and report it as a bug in the editor extensions thread if it doesn't work...

Yes, that button on the bottom really gets me sometimes too. It should definitively be moved to the top.

Definitely. Plus add some keyboard shortcuts for swapping pages and tabs.

Personally, I think this would be better resolved with key bindings. Maybe assign the number keys to snap to the different categories (Command, Propulsion, Control, etc) and have the comma and period keys change pages.

I want to chime in and say that I'd also love more keyboard shorcuts in the editor. How about the F-keys (F1, F2, F3, F4, etc) for switching between Pods, Propulsion, Control, etcetera, and the J and L keys for switching pages?
