Question about setting throttle.

So first off, what is the line for setting throttle. I assume it's something like "this.ship.throttle = " but I don't know. Also is it possible to set the thrust past 1, so say to like 120%. And finally if this is possible, would the throttle indicator go past the 100% mark and into the red bit. Look at the throttle indicator if you don't know what I am talking about.

I agree that you have to be able to overthrottle the engines (The Space Shuttle did it aswell).

But it have to come with a cost: the engines are more likely to overheat than before.

I am making a jet with afterburner so that's why I want to be able to go past 100% and obviously this would generate more heat yes. But I need to know how to do this.
