The auto shroud isn't working for me? I have placed various objects on the different nodes on the heat shields including the very bottom one. If you're still on your holiday you don't have to take time out of your day to reply, its not urgent,

Hey. I'm back from vacation, but are taking a wee break from development at the moment.

Can you post a screenshot of how you use it? I know auto-shrouds (for engines, heat shields, whatever) sometimes do not appear when inside a fairing, such as e-dog's Procedural Fairings (probably by design). Unless my memory fails me, you can override this behavior by using the TweakableEverything mod and select enable/disable fairings.

Yep. No changes to the mod. Unless mu posts a new PartTools for 0.25, v0.1.3 should work out of the box with 0.25. :-)

I've been busy lately with both my personal life and work, so sadly I have not had any spare time to spend on extending the mod. I did start on the heat shield for the Mk1-2 Command Pod, however I am not sure what you guys really want next.

Look at the list on the previous page and tell me which heat shield you need most in your designs. Which one you want next? (Or for that matter, other requests for particular heat shield designs.)

I've enjoyed using your heat shields on Duna missions and now would like to scale up to Real Solar System/Realism overhaul.

Have you given any thought about releasing a version of these for RSS? How complicated would this be to do I was wondering...

I think it is only a matter of tweaking the configuration for the parts and making some MM files for them, detecting RSS, but I really haven't tried RSS yet so I don't know what would have to be done.

If someone suggests reentry parameters for RSS I will however add them to the mod. :-)

Great. I'm guessing it's just a matter of adjusting the ModuleHeatShield module in the part CFG. I'd be happy to add it to the mod if you post your findings here.

i can't seem to jettison the shroud, using action groups or right-clicking the heatshield and clicking 'jettison' doesn't work.

Decouple works, but the heatshield is still stuck to the shroud... what am i doing wrong?

The heat shield comes with a decoupler for the top part, decoupling anything above it. The auto-shroud attaches to what's below it, which in your case should be a decoupler. It's like an engine shroud.

ahh i'm an idiot, i attached a fuel tank directly to it instead of a decoupler... yeah it works perfectly now.

Can you make sure it fits with the remodeled version too? No heatshield fits it now.
