I want to \'reskin\' the ASAS and tried to edit the png texture. The problem is when I saved it and loaded it into KSP most of the skin was transparent and I\'m not sure why.

I wish to \'insert\' the attached graphic over one of the panels in the ASAS. see attached - there is a 28x28 panel the logo can fit nicely into. I didn\'t reduce the logo in case I did something wrong. Is it easy for someone to do this simply copy/paste and then save in the right format? thx.

I tried, but that image is a bit of a mess, its not transparent, and when I tried to make it so, the low-resolution made it impossible to retain the details.

If you can find another logo, can try again (look for a PNG file)

This should be relatively easy to do with PDN and the right plugin, which I have.

Well that one works better, though I can\'t get it to resize in a satsifactory way, it loses all detail when resized to 8% to fit into that box

Maybe someone with a good hand can pixel-draw the logo for you from the example.

No problem, and for future reference if you want to reduce the size of an image and not destroy the quality use Bicubic Sharper.

Also when saving the image some software will give you the option of enabling/disabling the alpha channel (transparency) in this instance it would probably need to be disabled, although I\'m not too sure how textures work in ksp or unity for that matter.

KSP needs a full 32bit 4-channel PNG. RGB and Transparency channels.

Yes it has a bit depth of 32 with an alpha channel.
