rowns
Hi,Does somebody know how to change the Science points in Science mode? I know that it should be somewhere in the Save folder->map name->persistent.sfs but I don't know how the science points are called in it. EdFred
You want to change what science is worth, or just rack up a bazillion points to max out the tech tree?
Red Iron Crown
No need to edit the file directly, you can use the cheat menu.At the Space Center scene (where all buildings are visible), press Alt-F12 to open the menu.Press and hold Left Alt for 5 seconds.Press the science buttons to add or remove science as desired.(Instructions are for Windows, not sure about Linux or Mac)
Stratzenblitz75
Edit: Dang, Ninja'd Open in notepad: Kerbal Space Program/saves/(Yoursave)/persistent.sfs Search for "sci =" without quotations.Change the value after the "=" sign. Red Iron Crown
I don't get those buttons. It only works in the Space Center scene as far as I know. And I haven't tested it in Science mode, only full Career mode, nor have I tested it on Linux or Mac.
