Fasa and real chutesl

Recommended Posts

When i have Fasa and real chutes installed at the same time the parachutes for the apollo in Fasa always have the flotation bags inflated.

I know its real chutes because i took it out and the apollo chutes work like normal

i am using the 32 bit ksp

anything i can do to not have this happen when i have both addons installed

RealChute issue, else it would happen when realchute isnt installed. FASA is just parts, parts don't cause bugs.

Anyway, it's a problem in the MM configs most likely. Unfortunately I don't really have the time to look into it anytime soon, so it'll have to wait for the next update cycle. You can look at the docs and try to fix it yourself, but I can't guarantee you will be able to do it. Nothing else to do really.

Hi, I had the same problem and found a workaround on the web.

I confirm that it works like a charm

Hi, I was having this same problem and couldn't find a solution online, so I experimented with editing the configs and this worked for me:

Copy FASA_RealChute_MM.cfg from GameData/RealChute/ModuleManager and save the copy somewhere else just in case anything breaks.

Now go into the original FASA_RealChute_MM.cfg file (If you don'tknow how, download notepad++ then right click on the file and select "edit with notepad++) press ctrl+F and search for:

@PART[FASAApollo_CM_parachutes]:FOR[RealChute]

In this section of the file find the following two lines:

preDeploymentAnimation = ParachutesSemi

deploymentAnimation = ParachutesFully

And replace them with these two lines:

semiDeployedAnimation = ParachutesSemi

fullyDeployedAnimation = ParachutesFully

Save the config file and start the game, the parachutes should be functioning correctly now. I hope this helps.
