As expected there are a wide vaiety of possible values. Has anyone else wanted conversion values, and what did you end up using, and why?

I think you mean "joules/ec"...

Anyway, yes, the stock EC resource is wildly variable. There are mods that rebalance things to use a sensible "real" value for ECs, hopefully one or more of their authors will be along at some point to answer this...
