[Linux] Camera is uncontrollably fast

Hi,

This is what my attempts to play KSP under Linux look like:

As you can see, the camera can't really be controlled. The mouse is set to a reasonable speed as you can see from the relation between thumb and pointer movement. I've already turned down camera sensitivity in the settings all to the left, it doesn't seem to make any difference. Ideas?

It's probably the settings.cfg, depending on the language your system is set to the file can get mangled and cause issues like this.

Try deleting the settings.cfg file, and start KSP from the terminal with:

LC_ALL=C ./KSP.x86

It's possible you will also need to delete any save files you had loaded when KSP was not running with the LC_ALL=C command; saves can become corrupt, producing unpredictable and extremely strange effects.

tichy, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
   
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Anyway, setting LC_ALL=C was the solution. Before I had only set LANG=C which fixed most of the problems that appeared with my locale but left the camera being weird. Thank you!
